In practice
Three principles that guide everything we do
Building Agency
We believe students’ voices and experiences should guide the way they learn to navigate online spaces.
Behavior Change
Students engage in discussions, analyze their own habits, and work together to create healthier online norms.
Youth Co-Creation
Students’ voices and experiences should guide the way they learn to navigate online spaces.
Theory of Change
Students in control of their device use
Students are spending hours each day on their devices, shaping how they think, feel, and interact with others. Schools and families see the impact, but do not always have a clear way to respond.
KindEd exists to help students understand how technology is shaping their behavior so they can make more intentional decisions in their daily lives.
This is about more than screen time. It is about how students show up in school, in relationships, and in their communities.
Our Mission
Our mission is to shape a better future where every child can navigate the digital world with confidence and protect their well-being online and offline.
Youth Empowerment
We give students the tools to take control of their social media lives and beyond, empowering them to make choices that reflect their values and priorities.
Mental Well-Being
We prioritize mental health and well-being, guiding students to use technology in ways that support their own happiness and safety.
A Better World
We believe that healthy technology use creates a ripple effect beyond the screen. By cultivating a generation of mindful users, we positively influence real-world interactions and societal norms, contributing to a better world both online and offline.
